What do you mean? Other people don't keep their pantries in their dining rooms?
Atleast we know it is common place for people to keep their fridges in the family room.

I feel for you...our house is in shambles right now because we're in the midst of a big remodel. Our fridge was in the middle of our living room, too. Kind of convenient...you don't even have to venture into the kitchen for food!
