Do we know how to care for a house or what!

As many of you probably know the past several months I have had the pleasure of ripping down wallpaper, and quite a bit of sheetrock in the process. One thing kind of leads to another when you start a remodel project. We realized that most of the walls weren't textured, or needed fixed from my lovely handy work. We had to take all the molding off in order to get the wallpaper off, which made us take a closer look at our flooring. From there we decided we needed new flooring in our kitchen and family room, so might as well tear everything apart at one time right! We have basically been kicked out of our house the past couple weeks as the contractors are here trying to help us make our house livable again. As you can see they have quite a job on their hands!

Do we really have to live here mom?

The first day of the remodel Lily had a blast. We came home that evening and there was plastic down everywere that wasn't contaminated yet with plaster, paint, etc. She just ran from room to room enjoying the feeling and sounds it made. Her favorite room was the family room as the vent in that room made a big air bubble for her to run and jump on.
This huge spider really did not want to leave the house. He unintentionally got a little textured to the walls. He is gone now but I think there is still a little evidence left behind of his stay in our home.

WOW! What a lot to deal with. I know it will be a dream come true when finished, but also what a nightmare it can be, dealing with the process! And look - the spider is just ready made Halloween decor - the work party, party animal!!
