Summer fun

I was so excited this weekend actually happened!  We had been planning a get together for summer fun with the  our family and the Wilson and Johanson families.  Seems silly how challenging it can be to coordinate schedules, but we actually did it. We had all Aunts, Uncles, and cousins present from all 3 families and it was a blast.
This is at a blueberry park where we met up first to have a picnic lunch, and of course enjoy some blueberries.
Following the blueberry patch was a trip to a water park, were we were to busy swimming to snap any pictures.  That place was a blast!  After an afternoon of play, we  refueled after with frozen yogurt and toppings galore, but then I was just to tired for taking pictures.  I sure have a lot of excuses don't I!   We enjoyed a bbq back at Mendhy's house, and the Lily and Aubs got to have a sleep over at the Wilsons house!
The next day we met up for a local event in Olympia.  It was held in front of their new children's museum that is opening soon (that has its own lazy river out front).  I cannot even tell you how envious I am of this!  I would love to have a place in Vancouver similar, and I didn't even get to go inside the building.  There were so many hands on children's activities.  The event is held over a full weekend, and you could easily spend a whole weekend there with your kiddos and not all the activities in.
Waiting for the electric trolley to take us to Sand and the City.
Face painting is always a hit!
Hadley was such a little rock star, content hanging out in  the stroller (and eating a lot of goodies).
Such a fun event, and a great weekend with family.
