Snow Days!!!

It's rare for us to get snow. Especially the kind of snow that sticks around for any length of time. We had just gotten up when the snow started to fall one morning. Not knowing how long snow flakes would even fall for I let the girls rush out to catch snowflakes. Once the novelty wore off, they ran and got some actual clothes.
The next day we actually had a bit of snow. The girls went out first thing in the morning (before it was even light outside actually). It was already melting even at the early hour, along with a fine mist of rain. Kids really don't care about that kind of stuff though!
Then later in the day we all went on a walk in the slush. Talk about being drenched by the time we got home. You think puddles are fun to jump in, slush is even better!

When everyone was cold and tired we came inside and the girls took a bubble bath. Then was time to make snowmen. They were also so cold they had to take a bath in some hot cocoa!
