Newport Beach Summer 2011

What a beautiful and relaxing weekend we had at the beach. Corey and his Dad spent one full day tuna fishing.

Here is Corey's Dad reeling in the big fish. Was the biggest caught that day, about three feet long and probably nearly a 40lb Albacore. Below you can see the tuna after it was gaffed and brought aboard.

The girls, Grandma Cox, and myself spent that day down at the beach and playing in the indoor heated pool. Also relaxing in an amazing hot tub with some killer powered jets. Felt so good after carting Hadley around in the carrier everywhere!

Busy building a castle.
We are so done making babies, but man Corey and I have gorgeous DNA match-up!
Putting the poor Cinderella's to work!
I love this!
The girls both loved the water, especially Lily. Soon I need to find a way to get swim lessons into the mix!
Even Hadley got to enjoy the pool. Well, not the water part but the ambiance anyways! I was debating taking her into the water, but she has been battling her first cold. The pool was warm, although probably not warm enough for her little body. She was quite the trooper with all of it though.
We sure love our weekends away. Always come home feeling lighter somehow.
