April in a nutshell!

It's spring break!  Enjoying our first trip of the season to the zoo, and what a glorious day it was!

The great thing about having a zoo membership as that you can go often, and not feel let down if you don't get to see all the animals.  They have their days, just like people, where they just don't want to see people.  Well, this time the bears weren't having that kind of day.  They were just awesome.  All out, walking around and playing.  Was just awesome!

I don't know what the draw is to the lion statues, but that is where the girls always want to go.  They usually don't really even care to see the lions, just want to play on the statues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My April Fools Day prank.  Chocolate covered cotton balls!

I so got the girls, and it was hilarious.  Aubrey was disgusted and instantly spit it out.  Leave it to Lily though, she still ate all the chocolate off the cotton ball!

 

 

 

 

I would have had Corey to if it weren't for those pesky kids.  Hehe, scooby doo, get it!  They looked very real, and I had one ready for Corey.  Lily was to excited though and handed it to him saying April Fools Day.  He had forgotten the day, but was quickly reminded.

I attempted peanut sauce for the first time, and I was very disappointed with the end result. Hadley however devoured plate fulls, 2 fisting it even!
