Happy Easter 2011

Happy Easter Sunday everyone!!!
We had such a lovely day. I of course didn't take near as many pictures as I should have. We went to a Easter Egg hunt on Saturday that I meant to take many pictures of, but it was so crazy there it didn't even occur to me to get my camera out. Would have been to afraid to let the girls out of my sight though, kiddos were running everywere. We then went home and hid more eggs, then had friends over for a barbecue.
Sunday morning the girls got up and had much fun with their Easter baskets. Then the girls and I went to a new church, that I think we will call our home. Later to Corey's parents for a wonderful dinner celebration. Such a wonderful day full of rejoice. Much love to you all!!!

As you can tell, Aubrey wasn't to keen on getting her picture taken at the time. Lily, always the good sport, giving her cheese up!
These flowers were actually from a couple weeks before at farmers market. Just so beautiful though, even looking at the picture now makes me smile. I am thankful for each and every one of you!!!

Randomness

Corey sent me this picture while I was at work this past weekend. We finally had a gorgeous day, and I was at work of course. So glad though he got out with the girls, as I know they were having a blast. This is a little playground down the street with an odd version of a merry-go-round.

A Nice Day at the Zoo!

We actually had a gorgeous April day, which after the last 40 some days of rain everyday felt amazing. The girls and I took advantage of the morning and went to the zoo. We were there before they opened (dropped Corey of to work on the way), so the girls and I had some time to goof around before they opened.
Petting the goats is always fun for the girls. Just wish Aubrey would stop sneaking them kisses!
I don't know why, but these lions are always a huge hit. They look briefly at the real ones, but mainly want to crawl all over these bronzed ones.
The last 2 times we have went the orangutans have been quite social, sitting right by the glass and giving everyone the most soulful expressions. Such beautiful and soulful animals.

Speaking of beautiful and soulful eyes, Aubrey sure has some gorgeous ones. Both girls have such beautiful blue eyes, and Aubs with the additional long black eyelashes. I am so going to have my hands full with these ladies, and we have yet to see what our newest beauty will be like!
This was the first time they had actually noticed the sandbox. They had a great time playing there, and I was thankful for the reprieve. Keeping up with Aubs at the zoo with 6 weeks until my due date was pretty darn exhausting! I couldn't help but feel the resemblance between my walking style and that of the penguins!

Phenomenal progress!!!

Per my sister-in-law Camille's recommendation we started an educational book, teaching Lily to read. Her progress has been phenomenal in our opinion. My heart swells with pride listening to my baby who isn't even 5 yet reading me short stories.
At Grandma Cox's a few weeks ago the girls made cookies, and this note came back with them.
