Our sweet and quirky Lily

You are blossoming right before our eyes Lily, and amaze and crack us up many times daily. You are such a sweet little girl. You say please and thank you often, many times on your own. When we remind you to ask nicely you bend your head back and say please. You say bless you when someone sneezes. When someone has something you would like you say thank you share.
You love to be caressed gently. Your back is your favorite, although runners up are feet and hands. Your socks were off in an instant yesterday so Daddy could tickle your toes.
You are so gentle with Aubrey, always giving her kisses and hugs. When you lay down for your nap or bedtime it is Aubrey you ask to give kisses too.
Your thumbs are 2 of your cherished items, either one will do you aren't picky. Both thumbs actually have calluses on them! When one thumb is in your mouth you like to put your other hand in your shirt sleeve of the thumb you are sucking.
You are just growing up so fast. I sit back and watch you and Aubrey and I just wish I could freeze these moments in time when everything is perfect, or our family in a bubble to keep you safe from everything.
We love you sweet Lily.

My how our little girl is growing. I haven't gotten a picture of her when she is really hamming it up, as it is just to cute to look away to get the camera. She is also starting so squeal now, which is just melt your heart cute.

Outside time

Enjoying some time at the park. Lily loves being outside so much, she truely lights up when you mention the word.

I got a double jogger stroller a couple weeks ago, and we really love it. Lily and I were both going stir crazy inside. This was a couple weeks ago, both the girls snug as bugs. We went out a couple days ago though and many of these layers were not needed. By the end Lily even had her jacket off.
The weather is a lot like Aubreys night time sleep at this point. The longer periods of sleep are so rare, just like the beautiful days. However, we sure do treasure them when we get them! As time goes by we will get more of both, which we are so ready for!

Taking after her sister?

When Lily was a baby she found her thumb very early on and would knock her pacifier out to put her thumb in her mouth. Apparently Aubrey is taking after her sister.
In the womb Aubrey had her hands up by her face with every ultrasound we did (and we did a few of them). Today Aubrey has gotten out of every swaddle I have put her in, and then quite often has put her fingers in her mouth, knocking her pacifier out on multiple occasions. I was debating with Aubrey on whether I should try to promote pacifier usage over fingers as Lily is so attached to her thumbs we know it will be a hard habit to break. I think Aubrey might be making up her mind for us.

The next day I was too slow apparently getting Aubrey's food so she had to fend for herself.
