Our first big family vacation

We just got back from our first big family vacation. We were able to go to Napa Valley and San Francisco. Below are some of the beautiful places we were able to visit.

A picture of Alcatraz on the ferry ride to tour it.

MMMmmm, Ghirardelli square. We got chocolate bars as well as hot chocolate there. I had a drink that tasted like pure liquid chocolate. They put it in a tiny cup and at first I thought they were cheating me. I couldn't even drink half of it though, and if any of you know my sweet tooth you understand what that means!

If you look up top in the center of this picture you will see a road that makes zig zags back and forth. This is Lombard street, the most crooked street (it is so steep they had to design it that way to control speed).
A beautiful church.
One of the gorgeous vineyards we were able to see in Napa. We had a wonderful picnic lunch there one of the days.
Old Faithful Geyser of California. This is one of the three Old Faithful Gaisers in the world. Normally errupts about every 30 minutes, but was doing in about every 10 minutes the day we were there.
Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge.

Coit Tower picture taken from the wharf. We walked up to the tower (did not realize until afterwards that a bus runs up to the top-duh). It was worth is though for the view of San Fran, although would have been better if we weren't carrying a heaping diaper bag, Lily, and her stroller up all those stairs. Live and learn I suppose.
