People food here I come!!!

We had Lily's 4 month doctors visit, and she had a wonderful review. She is now 25 inches long (75th percentile), with a head circumference of16 3/4 inches (75th percentile as well). She weighed in at about 17 1/2 pounds (off the charts >95 percentile). We just feel so blessed that she is healthy, and such a sweet happy little girl.
We got the OK to start giving her rice cereal. She has been watching us eat with either a mouth opened wide, or smacking her lips for quite awhile now. She's not really sure what to think of it yet. She likes the spoon, and seems to want the cereal in her mouth, just not sure about the whole swallowing thing yet.
I know that messy times lay ahead for us now. She is really enjoying blowing rasberries with the extra liquid in her mouth, and she is already grabbing for the spoon to try it out herself. Thank heavens for the washing machine.
