People food here I come!!!

We had Lily's 4 month doctors visit, and she had a wonderful review. She is now 25 inches long (75th percentile), with a head circumference of16 3/4 inches (75th percentile as well). She weighed in at about 17 1/2 pounds (off the charts >95 percentile). We just feel so blessed that she is healthy, and such a sweet happy little girl.
We got the OK to start giving her rice cereal. She has been watching us eat with either a mouth opened wide, or smacking her lips for quite awhile now. She's not really sure what to think of it yet. She likes the spoon, and seems to want the cereal in her mouth, just not sure about the whole swallowing thing yet.
I know that messy times lay ahead for us now. She is really enjoying blowing rasberries with the extra liquid in her mouth, and she is already grabbing for the spoon to try it out herself. Thank heavens for the washing machine.
What fun this parenting journey is!

Roll over...no no don't roll over...

Roll over Lily, you can do it...no no don't roll over, your in the tub. Never mind that, you've never tried to roll over, go for it sweetie...wait, if you roll over you'll swallow a bunch of water and never do it again. Poor thing, she must have been so confused. No rolling yet, but she is having fun practicing in the tub.

My first cold

I have my first cold right now. As you can see I have been quite the bear to be around.

Playing outside

Mommy and I played outside for awhile today, trying to enjoy some of the last days of warm weather before that cold stuff moves in.

Cousin time

Recently my cousin Delaney and I got to see each other again. I can't wait until I am a little bigger and we can really enjoy each other more.

I also met my cousin Mackenzie for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I was pretty tired that day, so didn't get to visit too much, but from what Mommy tells me she is a lot of fun also.
