Back to the grind again.

First day of 4th grade!

Our K-prep girl had to get all dolled up as well of course. Her last year at home before she goes off to school.

First day of second grade!

Hadley and I enjoying some time outdoors. Pooh needed a walk as well.

Then the second day of school happened for Lily. She did a graceful dismount from the sliders and ended up with a displaced radial fracture. This is her in the ER. She was such a trooper. I don't think any of the staff were expecting that picture to appear from her x-ray. So proud of our girl.

Poor thing. We met with a pediatric orthopedist the next day. They did a reduction in the office WITHOUT ANY SEDATION!!! I felt so awful for her, but again she was such a trooper. Thankfully it also enabled her to bypass 2 surgeries to fix the break. That girl, always the over achiever. 

Going for a walk a week or so later. Kind of going stir crazy after all the medical stuff and uncertainty of it all. Long story short though we avoided surgery. Had an extended period of time in a couple different casts, but all healed well.

Enjoying a beautiful fall day at the camper. The boat is Corey and his Dad out sailing.
