Happy Fourth Birthday Aubrey!!!
Happy Fourth Birthday to our sweet and very spunky Aubrey. At 4:20 am on December 26th, 2007 we were gifted you, and such a wonderful treasure you have been. You wear your heart on your sleeve, and in that funny little mind of yours you have wheels that never stop turning. You make me laugh everyday, and also challenge me every step of the way. Love you to pieces my sweetie pie!!! Enjoying some delicious birthday cake with her cousins Aaron and Liam. Liam and Aubrey actually share the same birthdate but with 2 years between them, and Aaron is just a few days later. Look back to September post to enjoy pictures of Aubrey's birthday celebration. Lucky girl got to have 2 birthday cakes!
Grandpa Harvey getting some snuggle time in. He turns to butter around his grandbabies, so funny for such a tough guy! Hard to get everyone wrangled in for a picture! Christmas morning breakfast. Didn't get any pictures Christmas Eve, darn it! We had a real house full! Such a wonderful holiday celebration!!! It was just so great to watch the girls on Christmas morning. Even Hadley had fun with the unwrapping! Grandpa Harvey got coal in his stocking, imagine that! Felt so blessed to have Nichol and her boyfriend Nick, along with Travis, join us for Christmas this year. Such a special holiday!!! I cannot even begin to thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on myself and my wonderful little family. I am such a lucky momma!
We are just so proud of Lily. I know all parents think that their children are gifted and amazing in every way, but my girls really are :) Lily was the only child in her class to receive this award. It means she is an advanced reader. We haven't heard what her actual reading level is, but is atleast a second grade level and I would guess higher. Yes I am bragging, but I am a mom I'm supposed to! At the book fair this year Lily picked out a book that had many different breeds of dogs and descriptions of them. From this she decided the dog she really wanted was a flat haired golden retriever. This paper came home with her from her Grandma's house. It says this puppy is an adoptable lab mix from New York City. On her own she decided to put this paper under Corey's pillow for him to find. I think she was hoping it would turn out like the Christmas Story did, and she would get that puppy dog. Was so hard for me to turn her down. Good thing I have Corey to help keep me rationale!
