Hadley is a month old!

Pooped on...check, thrown-up on...check, sleep deprived...check. One month with Hadley in our lives...priceless. Cannot believe you are already a month old. My heart is full!!!

Lily's Pre-K graduation

Lily had her official Pre-K graduation the other day. She is so excited to start kindergarten. Myself I have very mixed feelings, but know it will be good for her. It is only 2-3 days a week also, so will be a good transition for all of us. How do we already have a 5 year old who is almost in school?

Our Family

We are still getting in our groove with Hadley, trying to figure out what soothes her the most. She has quite a set of lungs, and definitely cries more than either of the girls ever did. Corey has 2 sets of ear plugs, depending on how loud her roar gets!

This is my hunch on why she cries so much and often. She just wants to suck, but really doesn't like the pacifier. She's happy as can be when she is eating and/or pacifying on the breast, but momma just can't do that! Hadley loves to have her hands up by her face, and look what she found! During her ultrasounds she was doing the same thing.
Lily was a major thumb sucker as well, and honestly I am fine with it. If it makes her happy and lowers the screaming amount, I am hoping she figures it out soon! In a few years I will be googling how to break the habit, and that is OK!

How fortunate am I to have one of my dearest friends also be a fantastic photographer! She came to the house when Hadley was eight days old and took these fantastic photos. So wonderful for us, as I couldn't have gotten my act together enough to do it any other way, and I absolutely adore how they turned out. Man do we have some gorgeous girls or what!
