It's Show Time

Corey took these pics of the girls on a weekend while I was at work. Apparently they needed some mommy love, as several of my drawers were raided.
I love this pic of the girls hugging on each other. Starting to see them do that more and more, between take downs that is.
Lily, almost always in some dress or princess costume.
Aubs new expression, you like?
Here are a few of the take-downs I was talking about.
Lily is showing us some of her dance moves.
Aubs couldn't be outdone so had to do a show as well.

Thank you, thank you very much!

What snow???

One minute we are forcasted for a day of rain, the next minute the snow is coming down like crazy. Even as it started to snow I looked at the forcast, which still just called for rain. We were outside in a flash once the snow started, and that is pretty much were we stayed the rest of the day.
I of course was totally unprepared for snow with the girls, and went through many changes of gloves and accessories on them. They had so much fun though, and we got to know our neighbors a little better sleding down their driveway. Of course my camera died right away, so didn't get pics of any of that, but we were to busy to be takin pics anyways. I am now totally prepared with new sleds for snow and all, so we won't be getting anymore this year.

Lily trying to catch snow flakes on her tongue. She was so excited to make snow angels, and a snow man. Both of which we got to do, after the camera died.
Aubs all bundled up. I was the sled dog pulling them up and down the road. Later we got crazy with the neighbors and did some real sledding. It didn't take the girls long to turn into real dare devils. After the night of playing in the snow was over, we went to pick Corey up at work. He was stranded in Portland, as no one anticipated any snow and the buses were just not equipped to drive in it. Life is certainly one big great adventure!

Aubrey's Second Birthday Celebration.

For a fun thing to do during Aubrey's birthday celebration, we had face painting. Thankfully Jamie was willing to paint, and did a fantastic job at is as well. It was a big hit, thank you so much Jamie for your help!
All the kiddos sat so patiently while their faces were being done up.
Lily waiting very patiently for her turn. She had her designs picked out all day.
By the end Lily had two more designs than she had originally chose. If she had her way probably would have been a lot more than that even!
Oh what a ham!Francis was playing mister shy guy when he first got here, but didn't take him long at all to warm up.My wonderful friend Jen made Aubs special birthday cake, with Aubrey's oh so special baby on top. She actually had to go off memory with the baby as I didn't get the spare one for her to work off of. Don't worry the baby came off, we didn't traumatize poor Aubs by eating her special friend! The kids all cracking each other up telling knock knock jokes.
This is a typical picture of Aubs, with baby almost always in hand.

The Fashion Divas

Lily has always loved picking our her own clothes. I go along with it, as I figure it is her way of expressing herself. At times I REALLY wish she would let me pick a few things out for her, or let me actually do her hair, but she's quirky and I embrase it. Is Aubs going to follow the same pattern?

This day Corey took Lily to see her first movie, The Princess and the Frog. She was so excited, and had a really great time.
