Happy Second Birthday my Sweet Baby Aubrey

Oh how I love thee, I cannot even begin to express what you mean to me. You just make me smile. My heart fills with warm just thinking of you.
You are such a strong little girl, both emotionally and physically. I don't even know how many times you have hit your head and just keep on running (definitely head strong), yet you will burst into tears if we use our stern voice. You wear that big heart of yours on your sleeve, and show every emotion on that beautiful little cherub face of yours. Your eyes penetrate right into my soul.
I love your silly knock knock joke that you tell time after time again, and your "no way" and
"I know" expressions that you use so frequently. Knock knock. Who's there? Lion. Lion who? Lion ROAR!!!
Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy. You and your beautiful sister Lily have made me whole.
Love You Always,
Mommy

Merry Christmas!!!

Corey reading The Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve.
Aubrey giving her "look" for the camera. Here we are Christmas morning, the girls nice and bright eyed!
Doesn't take them long at all though to wake right up.
Lily with her pink puppy from Santa.
Aubs with her special puppy from Santa, her name is Lucy.
Man, Santa sure was generous!
Aubs with "Papa Hardey" and Aunt Jamie.
Just chillaxin.
Here's Trav looking super cool in his new leather jacket. It was absolutely hilarious how many times he went and checked himself out in the mirror that day!
We saved Grandpa Harvey's present for last, as we were afraid nothing else would get opened up after that. It's a horse that rides them around the house, biggest problem which we are continuously having to work on though... You'll never guess with two toddler, sharing!!!

Potty training again...

Aubrey has shown a real big interest in the potty the past month or two, but I have so been dragging me feet. It's just so much work, but I know I should jump at the chance since she is interested, uggg. Maybe after the holidays =)

Going to see Santa

Here we are waiting to go see Santa. The girls ran into their special friends Gabby and Bella. Lily just had to wear one of her special dresses, Aubs wanted nothing to do with a dress that day.
Two peas in a pod, sweet Lily and Bella. Looks like Bella had the same thoughts with her beautiful dress.
Posing for the camera before we left the house.
The girls with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Lily and Corey had been debating about what kind of cookies to leave Santa. Lily thought her favorite should be put out for Santa (chocolate chip), and Corey thought it should be his favorite (peanut butter). They agreed that it should be a question left for Santa. Sure enough, first words out of Lily's mouth were "what kind of cookies do you want Santa?"

Reindeer ears

I so wish I knew how to post a video while editing out part of the view. Lily is getting so excited for Christmas. She was sitting on the toilet naked, wearing her reindeer ears, singing Christmas songs. Was so stinkin cute. I posted these pics against my better judgement because of that. Happy Holidays everyone!!!

The hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree

Here we are on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. Each year we have the same debate, get a real tree and enjoy that beautiful smell (but deal with all the mess and hassle), or get a fake tree. We keep going to this wonderful tree farm we love, but brought in hand a tasty treat to warm our bellies.

Petting the animals afterwards. Lily got a little love nip by one of the animals, but still wanted to go back for more.

Our First Family Gingerbread House

For years my little brother and I would do a gingerbread house at Christmas time. I always really enjoyed that tradition, and wanted to do that with the girls. We had a fun time putting it together, and the girls had a great sugar high the rest the night.
Thank you so much Jen for the wonderful gift, you're a good friend and such talented artist.

Lily's first dance recital

Lily has been taking a creative dance class for a few months now, and got to have her first recital recently. She had so much fun. There were official pics taken that we are still waiting to get back. Will make sure to post them. They have another recital coming up next weekend, at a retirement community here in town. Should be a lot of fun.

Happy Thanksgiving and Welcome Nephews!!!

We had such a lovely Thanksgiving this year. Was a treat for me as I have worked the last few. The girls had a fantastic time playing with their cousins, and soon there will be two more boys to add to the mix!
Austin being dragged around in the tunnel, he was squealing but kept coming back for more. 3 girls that adore him, who wouldn't!!!
Sweet Delaney taking a breather, gotta find some place to hide!
This is one of Aubs newest expressions, we call it the evil eye. She will do it at such random times, is so hilarious. Once she has you laughing she cracks up.
Of course she has her precious baby in hand.
The girls waiting so patiently for desert. Oh yes, we are so related!

After a lovely Thanksgiving meal, with all the trimmings, we had a baby shower for my 2 lovely sister-in-laws who are about ready to pop. We cannot wait to meet you Baby Liam and Baby Aaron!
