Happy Father's Day Daddy!

As you can see Lily was concentrating very hard on her masterpiece. Aubrey got her morning snack in, so all was well.
In my head I had the idea that the girls would each do a handprint, maybe 2, and then we would put the decorative rocks around their handprints. I had to let go of my idea pretty early on, as they were putting grass in the concrete, Aubrey was trying to eat it, etc.
Happy Father's Day to my sweet husband.

Strawberry picking, oh so delicious!!!

There is something so fun and relaxing to me about picking berries. We have actually went once since I started posting this a couple days ago. I have a few more pics to post (if only I could find my camera).

Summer Days

Taking the bike trailer down to the park. The girls love it, although as you can tell Aubs isn't to jazzed about her helmet.

I don't know why it is, but Aubs almost always walks around with one of her shoes off. She alternates feet, but takes one of them off. I love the swim suits to on chunky baby legs. Why don't mine look that cute in a swimsuit?
The girls don't run and jump down the slide, but only because we haven't shown them how. Am afraid I might break something if I try to demonstrate! Lots of fun anyways though.

Family Reunion

We had a little family reunion last month in Montana. I am kicking myself now, as I was having so much fun visiting with with my amazing family that I didn't take barely any pictures. We missed all of you who weren't able to make it, will have to plan for another get together very soon!

The Porltand Zoo

My friend Jen and her two boys Jake and Joe went to the zoo recently, such a fun day. Wore me out anyways! The kids got to feed the birds nectar, which was a huge hit (kind of literally actually, the birds were kind of crazy diving and flying right by us).

Ah my little Lily Bean

My little girly girl, not quite sure were she gets it from? Myself, I plan on spending the whole day in my pajamas. Today Lily is wearing a pair of pants backwards because they have princesses on the bum and she can't see them if she wears them the right way!

Lily's 3rd Birthday

Lily had been asking about her birthday since Christmas, seriously each day asking if it was her birthday. Was so much fun watching her excitement when her birthday actually came around. Here she is waiting for guests to arrive.

Corey really didn't want Lily to have a super girly cake, which as you know with Lily that is what she is is a little girly girl. She decided though on a Madagascar cake, which I got to help make. So, all the things that don't look quite right are from me!

My wonderful friend Jen is an extremely talented artist, who now has her own business, designed and created the cake (with me along to keep her challenged).
Her site is simplysweetsbyjen.com if you want to take a look.

We made bird feeders with pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed. I think I was more excited about it than the kids were, but atleast Aubrey got a good protein boost out of it!

Was such a great day full of lots of laughter and very few tears (except for poor Francis who got soap shot into his eye). I feel so blessed to have all in our families life, we love you all. I can't believe my baby is 3, sob sob.....
