My post is a little backwards, as nothing is seeming to cooperate today.
We celebrated on Christmas Eve by having some of our dearest friends over. The girls helped us make pizza's, the boys got to play some guitar hero, and we were in bed by 10 pm (although awake a lot of the night because of fireworks).

Lily leaving her note for Santa Claus, along with cookies and milk and carrots for the reindeer.

No worries, it's just sparkling cider. She had to have her special glass to though, it's only fair.

These pictures were actually taken Christmas Eve. Thankfully they were taken then by my father-in-law, otherwise we would have had no pictures. After a huge turkey dinner we went into the family room and the girls got to unwrap their presents from Grandpa and Grandma. I took pictures on my camera, and believe after that I set the camera on the sofa and Corey and I went to clean up the disaster of a kitchen that follows a delicious turkey dinner. The camera diseappeared as quickly as the turkey dinner did. We searched for the camera for a good hour, turned the house upside down, and I spent the entire night playing the sequence of events in my head. The camera has yet to turn up, we have a loaner so we don't miss anymore precious moments. Lily must have found a really good hiding spot!
I guess the New Years resolution needed is to be more mindful of were I set things down!
