6 months old

Is that a gorgeous smile or what?

Aubrey is 6 months old today, wow I cannot believe it! She is sitting up by herself now, although she will randomly flop back so have to be right there to catch her. She also is rolling both from her back to belly and visa versa. We find her in some crazy positions in her crib. She is such a wonderful baby. Is still up twice a night though, but no one is perfect, right!

wild hair and beautiful flowers

Outside enjoying some of the beautiful weather we are having. Lily with her dirty face and fro hair, but the point is that she is finally getting some hair!!!

One of the trees in the backyard. Has such a beautiful fragrance to it, I love summer!

Baby food again!

So I really don't like baby food. It flings absolutely everywere. This morning it was on my walls, in my hair, and of course all over Aubrey and the floor. When I say on Aubrey though it was everywere besides in the mouth. I should have taken pics of the chaos, but didn't think about it at the time. On top of that Lily has to have whatever Aubrey is having, regardless of the fact that she had just finished a big breakfast, and she eats all of her second helping of the baby food as well.

Morning greetings

I absolutely love the bond that has formed between these 2 beautiful girls. Usually I get the girls dressed together in the morning, but this morning Aubs decided to sleep in a bit. Lily asked were Aubrey was first thing when she woke up and had to make sure she greeted Aubrey first thing when she awoke.

A trip to Papa Harvey's house

Corey had to go to Wisconsin last week for work, so the girls and I decided to take a trip to see my Dad. Was such a nice visit, I love watching my Dad who is a loud and at times gruff guy turn into a pile of mush with his Grand daughters.

Aubrey going in for the chest hair pull. Gotta watch her to she is quick.

He has two bears on his wall, which Lily walks by and states "no polar bears".

The big cat though and fox are however a whole different story. She would pet the cat and say good kitty, and try to feed the fox.

Then I come out of a room and see Lily carrying around a big piece of fur. Dad had given it to her to play with, and it was a bit unnerving. There were the little eye wholes, and this button nose. She was carting it around like a blanket, then popping her thumb into her mouth. All I could think was poor raccoon, and all the chemicals that probably went into making it into a hide. Oh well, it didn't last to long, she had fun, and it didn't make the trip home with us.

Happy Graduation Nichol!!

How time really does fly by. My sister Nichol graduated last weekend, and we are just so proud of her. It has not been an easy journey, but she did it and has become such a beautiful young woman. We love you.

Travis giving Lily rides around the house.

Nick and her boyfriend Jesse (also a very nice young man.)

We were blessed with a visit from my amazing Grandparents, who live in Montana so our visits are to far and few in between. They were able to come for Nicks special day. Oh and the hat above in this last post is not a typical thing Grandpa wears. He was just being a good sport and showing us how adorable he looked in Lily's hat.

Lily's birthday party

Below are some of the many wonderful pics that Camille took on Lily's two year celebration. Thank you so much Camille. It was just such a wonderful day full of giggles and squeals of laughter. We are so blessed and I thank each and every one of you for the joy you add to our lives.

You rocks are no match for me!

Nothing beats getting a sweet hug from a friend.

Taking time to smell the flowers.

This was the expression on Lily's face for most of the day. Was so much fun.

We got Lily a wagon for one of her gifts, and it has been such a big hit. Obviously the girls agree.

If you look closely you can see a dent in the center edge of the cake. That is from my sweet niece Delaney, who tested the cake for use to make sure it was edible. Totally priceless.

We got a parachute to play with, and it was a blast for everyone, not just the kiddos.

I am worn out, what about you Bella?

Such a great photo.
Hard at work grilling away after a afternoon of play.

Deep in thought.

One of my new forms of exercise, who needs a gym when you can do laps in the wagon.

The bubble machine from Aunt Mendhy was also a big hit.

Our futures so bright, gotta wear shades!

You look hungry Bella, let me give you a snack.

Yes, I am two years old now.

My hairs fine mom.
