My first tooth!

Oh my goodness, I am still so surprised. Aubrey just stuck my finger in her mouth, and she has gotten her first tooth! She has been drooling like crazy for the past couple weeks, and gumming everything in site, but I still wasn't expecting it! It amazes me how quickly these babies grow!

Our girls

Aubrey had her 4 month checkup a couple days ago. She is right on track with her developmental milestones, and her growth is right on track as well. She is already 16.1 pounds (85%) and is 25.8 inches long (86%).

That's right, I am training her early. Silly girl, she actually thinks vaccuming is fun! Lily had her 2 year checkup as well, and is right on track. She weighs in at 27 pounds and is 34.5 inches tall. The doctor actually said her language ability was that of a three year old. Not bragging or anything =)

relaxation

Nothing like relaxing in the hammock on a nice warm evening.

The big 2!!

How is it possible that I have felt more joy and true happiness in the past 2 years than I had in the whole 27 years before? Lily turned 2 at 4:34 this morning. We had a wonderful celebration for her on Saturday, with many wonderful pics to soon follow. Happy Birthday sweetheart!!!

Lily's first haircut

Lily's hair is something that has always cracked me up. She was born with a very minimal amount of hair, and it has really taken it's time to grow. It has some cute curls to it, but is so thin and fine it tends to fro out pretty quickly. She also doesn't really care to have clips or things in it, so they are usually pulled out pretty quickly. There was a longer strand of hair (actually coming from the back of her head), that kept getting in her eyes, so Grandma gave her her first hair cut. Also a tiny trim her her back fro. Anyone else looking at her wouldn't know that it had been cut, but there is a centimeter or two missing in some areas!

Rolling over!!!

Today Aubrey rolled from her stomach to back, on multiple occasions, for the first time. She was so quick it was hard to catch her in action. Growing up so quickly! Also, check out those brilliant blue eyes-the lucky girl!

sickly

We have had a nasty cold bug sweep through the house, with poor Lily hit the hardest. She didn't really leave the couch (or my lap) for several days. Thankfully she is on the mend now. Gotta get well for the big 2!
