Look closely

Look closely everyone, do you see anything new? I have teeth now! If you look at my bottom gum you can see my new tooth. There is also another guy right next to it, but hasn't popped up enough to be seen by the camera yet. Can you believe how fast I am growing up.

Having a good laugh

Please stop it, I can't take it anymore.
Oh, that was just too funny.

I'll take that camera please

I'll take that camera off your hands now please.
Look me in the eyes mommy. Now hand the camera over.

Sitting up all by myself!

I can sit up all by myself now, and am pretty excited about it. I still like someone to sit beside me, as I occasionally decide to take a fall and it isn't nice when my head meets the wood floors in our house.

What beautiful eyes

Daddy and I snuggling and playing the day away together.
I wonder who I got these pretty blues from?

Hi everyone

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I am absolutely amazing myself, atleast that's what the parents keep telling me! Thanks for checking in on me. I am blessed to have so many people that care for me.

I have feet!

Well, what do I have here? (minus the diaper shot, Lily really is going to kill me when she gets older!)
What ever these things are, they sure are tasty,

Lily's First Roll-Overs

We set Lily on the ground, to try and entice her to crawl. But instead, she surprised us and rolled-over for the first time!

I guess we need 3 spoons for feeding?

Slowly we are working on feeding Lily cereals. She really wants the spoon and food in her mouth, yet swallowing food is a work in progress. We have been using two spoons so Miss Lily can have her own spoon and we can have one also to feed her with. Apparently we need to incorporate a 3rd spoon into the picture, so we can actually have a spoon to feed her with. I anticipate though that she will just find a way to hold 3 spoons in her mouth :)

My first tooth

The past month and a half or so we have had a little drooling machine on our hands. Lily has also been putting anything she can think of in her mouth to chomp down on, our hands seem to be her favorite, although her hands are a close runner up as you can tell. Today when Lily decided that Corey's hand would be a good gumming tool, he felt a hard lump on her lower gums. Her first tooth has popped through. We are excited about this next step for Lily, but saddened at the same time. How is she growing up so fast?

Cuddle time with Sammy

Sammy and Lily are quickly becoming good friends. I think Sammy realizes this is a sure way to get affection, along with a quick way to be kicked out if she misbehaves. Sammy will often come up to Lily and rub up against her, so we also often find clumps of cat hair in Lily's fists. Am just thankful they are getting along. We'll see what happens when miss Lily becomes more mobile.

Come here fishy fishy

I was having such fun this morning playing with my fishies. It would have been better if I could have gotten them into my mouth, but I will figure it out. There is also a ball by my feet that I am getting a lot better at being able to kick.

Bookcase overload

OK, I think mommy might need a an intervention. She can't seem to stop buying me books. I guess this means I better really like to read.

You're just to funny

That was a good joke, tell me another please.

Stop, I can't take it anymore. You're crackin me up!

It's a cereal coma!

MMMmm, this stuff is great. Not sure if I have actually swallowed any of it yet, but it runs out of the mouth really well, and makes great bubbles. I was in a feeding frenzy yesterday. We had to have 2 spoons so I could have 1 to feed myself, and then mom could have one to give me food as well. It worked fairly well, except I kept making myself gag.

A relaxing Sunday morning

Daddy and Lily enjoying a relaxing conversation in bed Sunday morning. It was afternoon before any of us changed out of our jammies, not sure why we even did.

My first bath chair baths

Then I began testing the waters.

This picture here is from my very first bath in my new bath chair. I had a fun time sitting here, but didn't want to have much to do with the water itself (which is quite unusual for me.)

Wasn't long and I was diving right in. I got to play with my water turtles which were a lot of fun!
